WORK & BUSINESS LICENSES
Public Warnings
8 April 2026

South Australians are being warned against doing business with Morphett Vale-based business ADL Paving and Concrete.

Neither the business nor its operator, Dale William Hoskin, hold a builder’s licence and Consumer and Business Services has received multiple complaints about substandard, incomplete work.

CBS is continuing to investigate complaints and, as an interim measure, has issued the public warning while that work continues.

“We are taking these allegations seriously and are continuing to investigate complaints to determine what action may be taken in this matter,” Acting Commissioner for Consumer Affairs Jonathan Lambert said.

“Complaints in this instance include allegations of substandard work, aggressive communication and demands for excessive deposits.

“Consumers have also told us that Mr Hoskin has failed to rectify substandard work.

“Given the serious nature of these complaints, we’re warning members of the public against doing business with Mr Hoskin while we continue to consider this matter.

“We’d also encourage any consumers who’ve had dealings with either Mr Hoskin or ADL Paving and Concrete to contact us to assist with our investigations.”

Consumers wishing to make a complaint about Mr Hoskin or ADL Paving and Concrete, or looking for advice on dealing with traders can contact CBS on 131 882.

More detail is in the public warning notice.
