On 30 March 2017 the Commissioner for Consumer Affairs issued the following statement:

Since the Public Warning Notice issued on 24 July 2015 in respect of Green Engineering (Vic) Pty Ltd, Green Engineering has undertaken a number of positive steps to address the conduct of concern giving rise to the Public Warning Notice. In particular, Green Engineering (Vic) Pty Ltd:

1. is now licensed to contract for any electrical work in accordance with the Plumbers, Gasfitters and Electricians Act 1995 (SA)

2. has attended CBS with a willingness to cooperate and resolve consumer disputes

3. has resolved outstanding consumer disputes

and

4. has accepted responsibility for its actions by pleading guilty, on 12 July 2016, to breaches of the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), the Fair Trading Act 1987 and the Plumbers, Gas Fitters and Electricians Act 1995.
